New Idea for A Tournament

Duelist Kingdom tournament.

I've had an idea, and Idk if I should run it by Komp. or Aak, but as seeing there not on I'll just post the idea here.

We should have a tournament based on the old rules of Yu-Gi-Oh.
2000 lp's, no tributing, etc..

We should also have rounds to it such as, a starchip dueling round, then the second round would be held "inside the castle", and third would be the winner of the tourney vs Komp. Or Aak.

In the first round everyone starts with two starchips, and wagers them an try's to get to 10.

Second is everyone who gets 10 hosts another regular single elimination tourney.

The third will be the winner of the second round tourney vs Aak, or Komp.

Each player began a Duel with 2000 Life Points.
Direct attacking the opponent's life points is not allowed.
Players can Summon any Level Monster without a Tribute.
In the preliminaries, depending the area of the island around where a Duel took place affected the terrain of the Duel, granting Field Power Bonuses and other benefits and drawbacks.
When a monster is destroyed by a card effect, the controller of that card receives damage equal to half of that monster's ATK.

what i don't like the idea of benefits that not good it only worked good in the show that why they made so much changes

Oh, I'm just posting it to see if any of the Admins wanna do it. The rules I posted I copied from the Yu-Gi-Oh Wikipedia, they could be changed according to what they wanna do.

i m thinking that you should run it because you are now a mod and this was your idea, but if you want me or komp to run it then we'll do so.

1 thing we should only be allowed to use old cards to make it more fun, and have no cards with effects like in the anime most of the time (as the ones that were in it were broken though)

Hm, Sure I'll run it if you want. As for jack's Idea I will have to think about, for Aak's earlier reasons (Harder to make). Character decks would be cool. I'll be Bandit keath.
